Shipping policy outside Japan

1. Shipping

All TANAKA UNIVERSAL orders will be shipped directly from Japan to your designated address via EMS (Express Mail).
Please note that EMS does not offer delivery time options for international shipping. Delivery takes about 7-10 business days, but if Japan is a public holiday, it will be the next business day.
Please check the delivery date of EMS for the latest delivery date.


Once your order has been processed, most items will be shipped within 3 business days (please allow additional time for orders placed on weekends and holidays). When your order leaves the warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation, including tracking numbers and other information.

All products are shipped from Japan by EMS. Please see our Shipping and Tracking section for a list of countries we ship to and what to do if your country is not listed.
Please note that "business days" do not include weekends or holidays.


2. Shipping

Shipping costs depend on the weight of the parcel and the shipping method you choose.
To get a shipping quote, simply add the desired items to your cart, enter your country and zip code, and you'll see your shipping options in the Get a shipping quote section. The shipping charges shown at checkout are only valid for orders placed on this site. These charges may vary depending on the circumstances (specialized order and return options). The shipping method may also change for large orders.

 

3. Tariffs and VAT

Duties and VAT are created by the customs office of the country or region where the goods are purchased and are based on the country of manufacture and the goods. The classification determines the amount of obligation.
The price paid at the time of purchase does not include local duties and VAT. It may or may not be taxed at the discretion of the local customs.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the relevant tax authorities in your country.


4. Other

If you have not received your order by 30 business days, please check with your local post office first. Please contact us only after 45 business days. We will file a claim for the missing package and send you a replacement order.

We typically offer the following shipping options:
Economy (without tracking, for parcels): Delivery schedule to many regions within 10-30 business days Registration/Tracking: Delivery to many regions within 9-20 business days Express (tracking): 2~ Delivery to many regions within 5 business days
